"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."
Psalm 51:17
Brokenness is the birthplace of true greatness. Now greatness is not a bad thing in God’s eyes, but God’s brand of greatness is unlike what we may imagine. And any notion that the pursuit of greatness with God is odd, is merely a flawed perception. There’s more substance, style, and staying-power in greatness that flows from God. However, this brand of greatness only grows out of trials and is shaped through utter dependence on God.
So just when you think you’re at your end, you’re positioned for God to do something radical and new – something great! The deeper the brokenness the more complete God's work will be. In Christ, brokenness is a new beginning, a joint venture with the God who breathes life, purpose, and greatness into dead things. Great people are born in the shadows of despair. But don’t let your soul stay in a place of sorrow another moment. Put your hope in God. Place your life at his feet. Greatness is about to be born in you!
Here's some ideas to capture this moment of pain:
"If you've grown accustomed to bad habits, written off lifelong battles as unwinnable, or believed that some destructive behaviors can never be altered? Then The 7 Resolutions is for you. It's more than a book to read; it's a life to be lived. The Book, Planner, and Assessment will equip you to overthrow old patterns, create new life systems, and take hold of God's promises".
